Plans and what's included
Records Labs has four self-serve plans and an Enterprise plan. Every plan is billed monthly in US dollars and includes a monthly pool of credits, a number of full seats, and capacity limits. Higher plans add features for security, governance, and support.

Enterprise is custom: contracted credit volume, seats, and limits, with contract terms, a security review, and an SLA. It is not bought in the app; the Enterprise card in Compare plans points you to sales. Contact us through any channel in How to reach support to start the conversation.
Credits in the monthly pool do not roll over. Only purchased extra credits carry forward; see Extra credits and auto-reload.
What each tier adds
Team is for one team using shared knowledge and AI workflows. It includes cited AI answers across chat, Slack, and the API; Council multi-model answers; the website widget, Help Desk, and meeting notetaker; published cited pages; and basic, self-serve support.
Connect is for a larger group, up to about 30 operators. It raises every limit in the table, including more custom domains for published pages, and comes with standard support.
Operate is the company brain in production. It adds single sign-on (Okta, SAML), SLA alerts and audit exports, hourly refresh for live data on published apps, and priority support.
Scale is a company-wide or multi-location deployment. It adds SCIM provisioning and enforced SSO, self-service answer-quality evals, and dedicated support with a monthly review.
Council answers, the widget, the Help Desk, published pages, document and media intelligence, the meeting notetaker, and two-factor sign-in are on every plan.
Definitions
A full seat is a member with a role. Guests do not use one.
A business-system connection is one connected app: an ERP, CRM, commerce, help-desk, PIM, accounting, or custom-API system. Every live connection counts toward the limit, including connected apps such as Google Drive, Slack, or a mailbox. Website crawls, file uploads, and email forwarding inboxes do not count, and removed connections stop counting.
Data records are structured rows: synced from business systems, uploaded as spreadsheets or datasets, or stored behind published apps. Tickets, emails, and conversations never count.
Knowledge items are documents, web pages, uploads, and notes.
File storage is the files you keep: images, PDFs, uploads, and recordings you choose to retain.
Going past a limit
Seats and connections have a paid bridge before an upgrade: $25 per additional full seat per month, and $250 per additional connection per month, up to the hard maximums shown above. An added seat gives permissions, not credits. Data records, knowledge items, and storage can be extended in $25-per-month blocks (+500,000 records, +5,000 items, or +10 GB) up to the next plan's included amount. On Scale, the most you can reach is 75M records, 1,125,000 knowledge items, and 1,120 GB. Guests, published sites, and custom domains have no add-on; the next plan is the step up.
When you reach a limit, nothing is deleted or hidden. New growth pauses and admins are alerted. The Plan limits card on Settings → Plan & Usage → Usage shows every dimension with what is used and what is included, and its Add buttons buy seats, connections, and blocks.
Change your plan
You need the Owner or Admin role, or a custom role with "Billing & plan".
Go to Settings → Plan & Usage → Overview.
Choose Change plan, or Choose a plan if you do not have one yet. The Compare plans dialog opens.
Pick a plan. Choose moves up; Switch moves down.
Review the summary and choose Confirm change.
Upgrades take effect right away: new credits and features unlock immediately, and the difference for the rest of the cycle is billed to the card on file. Downgrades apply at your renewal; your current pool stays yours until then, and nothing is charged today. A first subscription skips step 4 and goes straight to Stripe Checkout. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal under the Billing tab.
Onboarding
Team is self-serve. On Connect and above, every deployment starts with an expert-led onboarding build, quoted separately from the subscription. The quote includes your starting credit balance.
