Guests

A guest is someone outside your company who needs to ask questions against a specific agent or project: a vendor checking a spec, an auditor reviewing a policy set, a client looking at the work in one project. Guests do not use a full seat, are not given one of your roles, and never see anything you have not explicitly shared.

What a guest can do

  • Ask and read. Guests can chat with the agents you grant and read what is shared in the projects you grant. They cannot edit knowledge, add sources, or change settings.

  • Only what you share. Access is scoped to the exact agents and projects you pick when you invite them. If an agent or project is not on their list, they cannot reach it.

  • Sensitivity rules still apply. A grant never overrides the sensitivity level on knowledge.

  • Every action is logged. Guest activity lands in the audit log like everyone else's.

  • Invite only. Guests cannot request access. Someone in your organization invites them.

Guests cannot see your member directory, and their AI use draws from your organization's credits like anyone else's.

Set in your contract

This is a hard limit with no add-on. When all guest slots are in use, the invite is blocked with the message "Your plan includes N guests and all are in use. Remove a guest or upgrade your plan to invite more." Guests invited before a plan's limit was lowered keep their access.

If someone inside your company only needs to ask questions, give them a full seat with the User role instead of a guest slot. Guests are for people outside the company.

Invite a guest

You need the Owner or Admin role, or a custom role with "Invite & manage guests".

  1. Go to Settings → People → Guests.

  2. Choose Invite a guest.

  3. Enter their Email. Company is optional; add it if you want it on the row.

  4. Pick a Relationship: Vendor, Partner, Contractor, Client, or Auditor. It is a label for your own records.

  5. Choose when Access expires: No expiry, 30 days, or 90 days.

  6. Under What they can reach, pick at least one agent or project.

  7. Choose Invite guest.

The guest gets an email invitation and appears in the list marked invited.

Manage guests

The Guests tab lists every guest with their relationship, grants, and expiry.

  • Suspend access pauses a guest without removing anything. Resume access reverses it.

  • Revoke access removes the guest and every grant immediately. You can invite them again later.

  • An expired guest shows the expiry date in red. Revoke them, or invite them again with a new expiry.
